Art critic, poet and columnist. He has been awarded the highest "Sahitya Akademi Award" of the Central Sahitya Akademi. He has so far published 23 books in different streams of literature. He is well known for his creative writing in hindi as well as Rajasthani language. He was instrumental in giving shape to nearly two dozen of itineraries Documentary films for Doordarshan., Serials like “Desert Calling”, fifty one episodes of which have been telecasted in various national and local channels. He has been a house hold name and much talked about person on tourism, media, art, culture and for his creative writing throughout the country. At present He is Additional Director to Hon'ble Governor, Rajasthan.
